Watched Mean Creek last night and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t the sort of horror/thriller flick I expected. Beautifully shot (not that I can find any decent screencaps of it all ugh I watched it on DVD), touching, disturbing, starring a baby Rory Caulkin (just a teeny bit like his brother, no?!) and really quite lovely on the whole. Made me long for a trip down the river in the USA actually.
